Since 2005, Shore Thing has been belting out the biggest and best international names in party music, including the likes of Fat Boy Slim, Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx, David Guetta, and last year saw Snoop Dog, Calvin Harris and Pendulum light up the beachside.

The Chemical Brothers have reigned supreme as the kings of dance music for more than fifteen years and they’re hitting Bondi this NYE playing a block rockin’ beat DJ set! Known for their killer production skills and epic tracks like ‘Leave Home’, ‘Escape Velocity’ and their recent London 2012 track ‘Velodrome’, there aren’t too many people who won’t know this devil may-care duo also spend stacks of time attached to their decks, DJ’ing everywhere from Coachella to Ibiza and back again.

When two of the masterminds behind Pendulum, Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen, decided to do something shiny and new, the huge electronic kick in the head that is Knife Party was born. From the dance-floor igniting dubstep of ‘Centipede’, to the delightful nastiness of ‘Internet Friends’ — “you blocked me on Facebook, now you’re going to die.” Knife Party are armed with some mammoth tracks and they are going to unleash them with wild abandon at Shore Thing.

Legendary Dutch DJ Fedde Le Grand is set to drop his heady mix of DJ dexterity, remix
mastery and production prowess onto the Shore Thing stage with a loud bass-driven
clamour. Armed with a bag-full of track treats from his 2009 album Output, which includes ‘Let me Think About It’, and recent hit releases like ‘So Much Love’ and ‘Autosave.’ If Fedde Le Grand busts out his epic hit ‘Put Your Hands Up For Detroit’ and his stellar remix of Everything But The Girl’s ‘Missing’ then Shore Thing is going to see in the New Year with one hell of a bang.
This celebration will be the biggest Shore Thing to date!

SHORE THING // 31ST DECEMBER, BONDI BEACH, SYDNEY
Music 8:00pm – 1:45am

Spectacular fireworks, the world famous sands of Bondi Beach and an inimitable New Year’s Eve atmosphere, Fuzzy’s Shore Thing already has a lot going for it. But that’s not all the New Year’s Eve institution can brag – back for it’s eighth year on December 31, Shore Thing has just announced a very good looking line-up to help Sydney see in the New Year.

So who’s on the bill? Leading the charge is none other than the Chemical Brothers with a DJ set, the legendary Brits coming packing more than 15 years of experience behind the decks. Then there’s the year’s runaway success story, “seizure music” specialists Knife Party and to round it all out, Dutch favorite Fedde Le Grand. Pre-sale tickets will be available from September 17 and general public tickets will go on sale September 20. All up, it’s looking like a pretty unbeatable way to welcome in 2013.
