Niaa, the Berklee trained singer and pianist who is known for her vocals Wyclef Jean’s “Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill),” and Rhode Island producer The Range have released a collaborative EP, Breaking. Featuring original tracks along with reworks of songs off of Niaa’s Generation Blue EP, Breaking combines Niaa’s soulful vocals with The Range’s beautifully minimal electropop in perfect symbiosis. Niaa’s debut album is supposed to be released in the near future, and The Range released his first full-length album just a little over two years ago so hopefully this EP is just a preview of what is to come for both of these extremely talented artists. Head on over to her Soundcloud for a free download of Breaking as you will definitely want to listen to it again and again.
